GP5244 PTFE Braided Manlid Seal

It is a white seal made from densely braided PAN fiber with throughout PTFE dispersion impregnation. Its lightly tensioned construction offers flexibility and compressibility to ensure the sealing performance, and enable easy cutting, easy fit installation, easy removement when it needs replacing. GP5244S is the same braided seal with Silicone core reinforcement to enhance its resilience.

Application area

GP5244 is a general seal designed to apply on the manlid of containers, road and rail tankers during the transportation or static stock of general chemicals, petroleum products, food & beverage. It performs best value when the manlid seal needs to be replaced after each trip.

• Compatible cargos: General chemicals, Petroleum products, Food & beverage.

• Media range: PH 2-12.

• Maximum Operating Temperature: +120ºC (+248ºF)

• Minimum Operation Temperature: -50ºC (-58ºF)

• Maximum Tank Pressure: 2 bars ( only liquid, non-gas tight)
